Princess, a Chihuahua/Poodle/Terrier mix

Meet Princess! Princess is a 5 year old Chihuahua/Poodle/Terrier mix and she weighs about 15 pounds. She arrived in rescue after being left at animal services when her family could not care for her. She was very scared there and needed to decompress in a foster home. She has settled in well and her foster mom says she would like to introduce herself: Hi! My name is Princess. My foster mommy calls me Pretty Pretty Princess!  I love my foster mommy, but I am ready to find a family of my own. I would love to be a spoiled only "princess". While I get along with the other dogs in the house.

I don't like the others joining me with my foster mommy snuggling on the couch watching reruns on TV (my favorite show is Mama's Family). I like to tuck myself in under a blanket to sleep. If you want to get my attention, food works every time! I'm very cautious around new people but once I get to know you, I'll be your best friend! I do not really like men very much and will bark at them, so I really need a girls-only home please!" Princess is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned. She is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $300.

Jorge, a Dachshund/Chihuahua/Min Pin mix

Meet Jorge! Jorge is a 2 year old male Dachshund/Chihuahua/Min Pin mix and he weighs about 10 pounds. He arrived in rescue after coming from a house with too many dogs that could not properly care for him. He did not have much socialization but is doing well in foster care and is ready for a forever home to help him continue to be the best pup he can be! His foster mom says, "Sadly, Jorge came from a 'hoard house' and has never learned how to 'dog', so he will require an extremely patient, special owner. He's quite skittish and will need a crate in his new home that we recommend he be permitted to stay inside for his first few days (pee pads for him to wee on and a towel for him to sleep on). He's VERY sweet, not high energy, not aggressive- so loving touches, kind speak will do him nicely while he unwinds with you. He definitely takes time to warm up, but once he does, he is a MEGA LOVER! He is sooo affectionate- he wants to be CLOSE- at least touching you and often ON YOU!!!

He doesn't like open spaces and after two months, still hasn't explored his home, which gives you an idea of just how scaredy this boy is. But he LOVES sofa hang out or lap time- and he wants to sleep in the big bed with you all night. He will require a FULLY fenced, secure yard due to his being so skittish in order to help with his house training. And, he does NOT like harnesses or leashes yet- so, the adopter will need to work with him on this. Jorge is a very smart dog, and with patience, we are confident that he will do well. BUT- he will most likely always be a very skittish dog with strangers coming into the home. Car rides aren't his thing, either. So, this dude is a challenge! But, he is sooo LOVING and if you want a cuddly, sweet, funny dude that you are willing to devote some time and effort towards- Jorge might be your guy!" Jorge is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had his teeth cleaned. He is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $375.

Pebbles,a Yorkie mix

Meet Pebbles! Pebbles is a 1-2 year old female Yorkie mix and she weighs about 5 pounds. She arrived in rescue after coming from a home with too many pups that could not properly care for her. She was not super socialized, but is working hard to learn that humans are kind and can be trusted. Her foster mom says, "Meet Pebbles – your diamond in the ruff! This beautiful girl may start out shy, but don’t let that fool you.

Once you earn her trust, she becomes the most loyal, loving little shadow you could ask for! Pebbles is looking for a patient and understanding human who sees the magic in slow beginnings and the beauty in building trust. She’s a playful pup who adores romping around with other dogs and tossing her toys around. Cats, however, are more of a “chase now, apologize never” situation—so a cat free home is ideal. Pebbles is a peaceful soul, not one for barking just to hear herself talk. Her favorite pastime? Cozy, blissful naps on the couch where she can curl up and feel safe. She’s currently working on her pad training and doing her best! If you’re ready to invest a little love and time, Pebbles will repay you with endless affection and the kind of bond that only comes from earning it. She’s not just a pet—she’s a project of the heart." Pebbles is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned. She is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $425.

Loki, a Puggle mix

Meet Loki! Loki is a 5 year old male Puggle mix and he weighs about 20 pounds. He arrived in rescue when his previous family was no longer able to care for him. He has settled into foster care, but would love a family to call his own. His foster mom says, "Hi everybody, meet Loki. Like his namesake, he is a little mischievous and likes to chase squirrels and lizards. The best thing I can say about Loki is when my parents came to visit, my dad said that if he was looking for a dog, he would want Loki. My parents have been around several of our other foster dogs over the years and never said anything like this before. Loki is a medium energy dog who would play all day with you if you let him. He follows me around the house and always likes to be nearby. If I'm on the recliner or couch, he will sit on or near me. He loves playing tug and fetch, but eventually will go play by himself or lay down and take a nap if I stop entertaining him. He sometimes even falls asleep with a toy in his mouth. He loves attention from people, but doesn't want to share that with any other animals in the house. He could not be in a home with cats, other dogs or any small pets. Loki could be in a home with older, dog savvy children. He would not do well in a house with shared walls, as he barks at most noises.

He is extra alert to sounds if I'm alone with him in the house. He likes to chase squirrels and lizards, so he has to wear a harness on walks. Loki is pretty much house trained on a schedule of every 3-4 hours and will use a potty pad as a backup. At the end of the day, Loki sleeps in the big bed with us. He has commandeered a pillow as his own and also likes to go under the blankets. He sometimes will cuddle, but only when it's his choice. "Loki is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had his teeth cleaned. He is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $275.

Raven, a Shih Tzu

Meet Raven! Raven is a 2 year old female Shih Tzu and she weighs about 10 pounds. She arrived in rescue when her previous family could no longer care for her. She is a sweet girl who has settled into foster care nicely, but would love a forever family to call her own. Her foster dad said she would like to introduce herself: Hi, my name is Raven. I’m a super sweet and friendly little girl. In my spare time, I like to play with toys, chew on bones and run around the yard with you.  I am more of a “free spirit” and do not like being locked in a crate.

If you try it, I will bark and scratch very loudly until you let me out…but that’s just to make sure you do not forget about me.  I am great with older kids and other dogs, but my ideal situation would be a home where I am the only dog, so I do not have to compete for attention, food or treats.  I will also need a house with no shared walls and someone who can be home with me most of the day would be great!  I am house trained but can have an occasional accident if I get too excited.  Anyway, if you’re looking for a loving and playful new friend who is full of personality, you should definitely pick me! Raven is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned. She is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $450.

Blitz, a Maltipoo

Meet Blitz! Blitz is a 3 month old male Maltipoo and he weighs about 5 pounds. He is still growing and could be up to 15-20 pounds when full grown. Blitz arrived in rescue when his previous family just was not up for a puppy and all of the challenges of puppyhood. Blitz will need a family that is up for all things puppy - including house training, leash training, continued socialization and all her proper life skills. His foster mom says, "Say hello to Blitz! Blitz is a sweet, spirited little pup with a big voice and an even bigger heart. This young guy is full of energy and curiosity—and he’s got a lot to say about it! From happy barks to adorable “conversations,” Blitz is quite the little talker. (Fair warning: he’s better suited for a home without shared walls, so his vocal talents don’t keep the neighbors up!)

Blitz is on a journey to master all the puppy essentials: leash walking, house training, crate manners, and discovering what not to chew on (sorry, shoes!). With a healthy appetite and a brain eager to learn, he’s ready for a family who’s patient, loving and excited to help him grow into the well behaved companion he’s destined to be. Blitz can often be underfoot, so a home with any one who is a trip and fall hazard (senior humans and small kiddos!) is not a match for him. If you’re looking for a sweet, chatty and playful pup who’ll keep you smiling—and maybe talking back—Blitz is your perfect match!" Blitz is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. He is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $525.

Bongo, a Pomeranian mix

Meet Bongo! Bongo is a 1-2 year old male Pomeranian mix and he weighs about 9 pounds. He arrived in rescue from a home with too many pups that could not properly care for them. Unfortunately he did arrive heartworm positive, but he has been treated and is thriving! He is ready to find his forever home now and his foster mom says, "Bongo is a happy go lucky ball of fluff! While he tolerated his 30 day crate rest (follow up to heartworm treatment), he is very happy to be off restrictions now!

Bongo walks well on the leash and enjoys patrolling the property. He also likes car rides. He is social and does not know a stranger. Bongo is well behaved at home and lets you know when he needs to go out". He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention, microchipped and has had his teeth cleaned. Bongo is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $400.

Carla, a Chihuahua mix

Meet Carla! Carla is a 1-2 year old female Chihuahua mix and she weighs about 9 pounds. She arrived in rescue after finding herself stranded at animal services with her puppy. Her puppy was weaned and found a home, but Carla has had an extended stay in foster care as she was heartworm positive and needed treatment. She has been treated and is now off restrictions and ready to find a forever family to call her own! Her foster mom says, "Carla is a cute, loving ball of energy! She came to stay with me while on crate rest following heartworm treatment. At such a young age this poor girl had already been bred and was not receiving proper care.

She has been a trooper, but it is evident that crate rest is not her thing. She is always super excited to go outside and moves at one speed.....lightning! Carla eats well and is house trained on a schedule. She will need patience with leash walking until she knows it's OK to slow down. She also really enjoys car rides and loves meeting new people. She has shown no interest in my cat." Carla is spayed, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned! She is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $375.

Coco, a Chihuahua

Meet Coco! Coco is a 10 year old male Chihuahua and he weighs about 9 pounds. He arrived in rescue when his previous family could no longer care for him. He has settled into foster care nicely but would love a forever family to call his very own. His foster mom says, "Meet my handsome foster boy Coco! He is a sweet guy, but shy at times. Once he is comfortable in his new home, he seeks out affection from you.

He will take a little time to adjust to his new surroundings. He loves to sleep in the bed with his humans and also enjoys hanging out on the couch with you.  Coco loves his food/treats and is very treat motivated (although he could use to lose a pound or two which we are working on). Although he currently lives with other pups, he would do best as an only pup (he isn't fond of sharing food/treats). Coco is very excitable when there is a knock on the door and he goes into protection mode, but then quickly calms down. He is not 100% house trained but will use a potty pad if one is available to him. A quiet home without children would be best for him.  Coco walks well on a leash and enjoys a short leisurely stroll." He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had his teeth cleaned. Coco is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $275.

Collette, a Shih Tzu mix

Meet Collette! Collette is a 1-2 year old female Shih Tzu mix and she weighs about 15 pounds. She arrived in rescue after coming from a home with too many dogs that could not properly care for them. Her foster mom says, "Collette adapted immediately to her new foster environment with other pups and a cat. Side note, the cat is the only fur friend she plays with as the pups ignore her. Collette is an investigator of noise, activity or potential goings on. She is in her fur sibling’s business to make sure she is aware of all things.  Collette is calm and comfortable on a car ride, leash with halter walks and house trained on a schedule. She is a wonderful cuddle buddy and sleeps beside her person day or night. The one thing we are working on is not stealthily and mooching into her fur friend’s bowls at food time. Gently she is learning to allow others to enjoy their own food without her sharing. Collette is not fond of crating or being alone. She would need a home with another dog, especially when her people are out on errands.

She loves the fenced in yard and absolutely checks out every inch of space to see if there is anything interesting she should know about. Collette is an athlete. She can in fact climb a chain link fence, which she demonstrated at the boarding facility prior to arrival in her foster home, therefore she never is unaccompanied in the shadow boxed wood fenced in backyard. She can jump on a dining table or a kitchen counter if there is unaccompanied food for the taking, as any good athlete could! She greets everyone like there might be a belly rub in the making. Collette is a gentle, smart and trusting little soul who deserves a home with love and affection. If you are looking for a companion who is focused on you and a guarantee of your outpouring of love returned, she is your best choice!" Collette is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has clean teeth. She is fostered in Orlando and her adoption donation is $400.
